Hudson Valley, New York - Lundy Farm Private Estate
Tuesday July 6th – Thursday July, 8th 2021
RETREAT DETAILS
ABOUT LUNDY FARM
This first retreat back is a return to our lives, a rediscovering of our selves, a call to arms for our spirit. It needed to be something special. And we found it.
Nestled in the state forest of the Hudson Valley, Lundy Farm was built to be exactly what we now yearn for. A private retreat property, a haven, a landscape to inhale + exhale. A backdrop where we can get wildly loud. A space where we will bathe in the quiet stillness. Tucked in among 30,000 acres for privacy and then, at the threshold, yawns open and sprawls grand. Purchased in 1920 by Irving Lundy, the extraordinary history and vision of this estate remains intact with 62 acres of estate unfolding stone bridges, a spring-fed pond, artesian well and regenerative farm. A salt water pool, water-side sauna, apiary, tennis court and meandering trails all beckon to be discovered by foot or bicycle. We will have full and sole use of entire property. This retreat is casual and indulgent, crafted to soothe us, replenish us and gather us for an exquisite experience that many of us crave. To hush. To celebrate. To be cared for. To be inspired. To be pressed forward. To be together.
MODERN + TASTEFULLY APPOINTED ROOMS
Two luxurious villas are set side by side, each with guest rooms white bright and comfortable. Each accommodation is unique -modern with a respectful nod to the history of the estate. Light saturated rooms have 100% Organic Avocado Green Mattresses and organic cotton sheets. The villas offer reading nooks that unfurl into open design living spaces, sunrooms, patios that spill out onto porches that tumble onto the property lawn.
FARE
A private chef will be preparing all of our farm to table meals. With pristine attention to detail and flavor, our nourishment is as much a part of our experience as the movement + conversation. Bountiful, mindfully sourced from local ingredients including the property’s very garden. Prepare for an exquisite culinary experience of artistry and flavor.

frequently asked questions
+ How are you handling COVID?
All participants will need to show retreat planners either a COVID vaccination card (emailed at least two weeks before retreat, with vaccines complete at that time) or, if not vaccinated, proof of negative results of a PCR test taken within three days of retreat start (July 6). You will be required to fill out a digital covid waiver the day before the event begins to confirm that you do not exhibit any COVID symptoms and have not been in close contact with any COVID positive individuals within fourteen days. Masks will not be mandatory on this retreat. We chose a private estate to allow for the safest transition back into our retreat experience, allowing for minimal contact with anyone on the property other than retreat participants, while providing a full, uncompromised experience. No refunds will be given regardless of the reason for cancellation. As per all retreats, some transactions may be transferable and will be discussed by case to ensure fairness for both parties.
+ What are the dates for this retreat this year?
Tuesday July 6th - Thursday July 8th, 2021. Mid afterrnoon arrival. Mid afternoon departure.
+ What is included?
The trip is all inclusive of accommodations, on-site food, dance + yoga + meditation classes, taxes and gratuities. Transportation and alcohol is not included.
+ I am accustomed to marble tubs & white glove service when I vacation. Is this retreat offering that?
Usually I say, "nah". Because these retreats are not intended to have every material whim satisfied. But they are inteded to have you more than satisfied. Here, at Lundy Farm, simplicity meets grandeur. Private estate aesthetic marries farm pragmatism. Extravagant history subtlety bows to the modern form. The estate was indeed built for a luxurious experience and you will likely feel that. You should need for nothing and feel totally cared for, in just the right way we intend for these retreats.
+ How does payment work?
All payments are non-refundable. In some cases, payment is transferable & decision is at the discretion of retreat organizers. We aim to be as fair as possible. You will reserve your spot on one of the retreats with a $500 non-refundable deposit. The balance of your payment is due by June 10th, 2021. We strongly recommend buying trip insursance always and cannot emphasize how obviously smart it would be to do so now.
+ When do classes begin/end on the retreat?
First class is Tuesday evening. Last class is Thursday morning.
+ Do I need to have taken your/other dance class before? Do I need to know how to dance or practice yoga?
Nope. I love meeting brand new people who think they do not know how to dance or practice yoga. Yes, some people who come on retreats with me have been taking class for a little to a long time. But equally, there are cousins, college roommates, mothers, sisters, brothers from different parts of the world-- all of whom come together to experience these retreats. It's life-busting-at-the-seams amazing. To brush up or be introduced to my style before, log onto Tootsie Olan Digital Studio for all your online classes with me.
+ Is this really for ALL levels?
Yup. This retreat is for YOU. You have the time and space to learn, ask questions & get it. I personally welcome ALL levels. You will be astounded at how much you get it & grow in so few days. If you want to get a small sense, log on to Tootsie Olan Digital Studio and try some classes there. Or don't & learn with us on the retreat. We got you.
+ Do I have to take every class?
Nope. This retreat is for YOU. It is not a bootcamp. It is not a detox. It is not a upstate NY deprivation, slimming chamber. No one cares about how you look in your yoga/dance gear. There are no mirrors in our studio. If you want to make it a detox, go for it. But the intention of this experience is to live. Get back to life. Lick our wounds and set new horizons. To pause from our lives and experience wholly everything we are eating, drinking, feeling, sweating, dancing, meditating, discovering, nurturing and most of all, living. What a year. We need to devour life fully again. It is an opportunity to tap into what YOU need. Some people wake for sunrise meditation and attend every class. Some sleep in one day. Some do mostly dance, some do mostly yoga. Most do most of everything. Some realize they've lost a couple pounds. Some choose to have a cocktail post class while others choose water. You make it as rigorous and full of activity or as non-rigorous and tuck-away-walk-through-the-streams as you like. Regardless of your retreat-style, you will return to your life different, renewed, cleared...lived.
