Details on arrival: Sandy Hook National Park entrance fee does not start until 9am so you simply drive through entrance gates. Take in the gorgeous drive for the few moments to the no-fee lot of the Life Saving Station, which is the lot on the right side between Lot D and Lot E. (If you are planning to spend the rest of your day there on the Hook, you should move your car to a fee lot and return to pay $20 at the entrance). You will see Life Saving Station Building on the beach among the dunes. Please stay on the path— we are in a precious naturally preserved area.

We began with one event last summer. Then kept adding as each event sold out. East coast Summer sunrise, powerful movement, staring out at the beach, kissed by the breeze. This just sells itself out.

Inspired by my retreat mornings of sunrise yoga, winds blowing from whatever sea or ocean we’ve been near- Mediterranean, Adriatic, Caribbean, Atlantic- I wanted to share that magic locally- we don’t need to board a plane to Mexico or Europe!

Our yoga spot is unbelievable. The restored Sandy Hook National Park Life Saving Station Building—a lesser know jewel of a spot. We get to practice yoga under beams from the 1890’s, sand dunes + Atlantic Ocean before us, US History enveloping us. A morning yoga practice for ALL LEVELS. It’s the August Edition of this monthly event that, frankly, has brought new fire + inspiration to me + many of us. 90 minutes that, with no hyperbole, can change your week, month, life. We begin with my yoga— to heat up + prepare to feel everything by opening, lengthening, aligning + getting deeply present. And then, obviously, we hit danceFLOORED: pure lightening energy.

Every month will have a different intention. August— we have to make up for lost time since July I am on my Spain Retreat. So, this one is celebrate summer in all of its glorious abundance of light + vibrance. Absorb it all!

Class is at Ripley Grier Studios, our OG stomping grounds in the middle of NYC. I want that feeling of vintage NYC arts scene. Our studio is among studios of broadway auditions, concert tour rehearsals, theatre shenanigans.

The game-changer, mood-shifter, blah-alleviator, darkness-lifter class experience of a morning. Find yourself, rekindle yourself, celebrate yourself here. I am so crazy excited for this to be monthly now + to be with you!

As per always: ALL LEVELS WELCOME! Whether you have never taken class with me before, took class a decade ago or saw me last week, get here + feel this. I love newbies- bring those curious friends.
